Conner’s Market – Buxton – Facebook Page - Big green building on the left as you go north into Buxton. Fully stocked with everything you need for meals big or small. Good meat case and some gourmet items too, check out Conner’s brand spicy, garlic pickles, they may change your life... Sunscreen, Beer, and wine.

Pamlico Deli – not really a grocery store but great Italian charcuterie, sandwiches and family-style pasta dinners to go. Great wine selection – look for wine tastings.

Lee Robinson’s General Store – Hatteras – Facebook Page - South towards the ferry, big yellow building on the right.  Cool cats on the porch. Gourmet goods, cheeses, pasta sauce and prosciutto, old-fashioned soda brands, ice cream, great fudge, big city newspapers, great wine and beer selection, sunscreen, T-shirts, hats, souvenirs and candles. Summer they have a veggie and fruit stand across the street.

The Scratch made Snackery – Hatteras – Facebook Page – South to the small red building on the right after the bridge over the creek. Opens early, like 05:30 – 0600 early. They have what you need. Coffee, Pastries, croissants, cheesecakes, breads galore. Get a lemon bar.
